Please note if you have any of the symptoms explained below, it is advised to be tested for COVID-19.
Symptoms of COVID include:
Fever (>37.5), cough, sore throat, shortness of breath (difficulty breathing), runny nose, loss of smell and of taste.
NSW Health recommends that anyone with respiratory symptoms, loss of sense of smell or taste, or unexplained fever should be tested for COVID-19.
The Jamberoo Surgery encourages patients to attend the local test centres for COVID testing and not to attend the surgery due to limited PPE supplies. Use the link attached here, for local testing centres in the area: https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/how-to-protect-yourself-and-others/clinics?fbclid=IwAR3TfT7u7d6HhG1YSiwAcbWgzC2LBq8wZ4LEUgVV2X8LIUX80LoRVijMC0Y#covid-19-clinics
Where possible, The Jamberoo Surgery encourages telehealth consultations. If face to face appointments are required it is advised to call the surgery for advice prior to booking an appointment. Please note however, all new patients to the practice will need a face to face appointment initially.
